Vacation Mode allows you to put your Depop shop on hold for 7 days so buyers won't be able to purchase your items for sale.
As a seller you can use Vacation Mode when:
- You're temporarily unable to run your shop.
- An emergency keeps you from being able to manage your shop.
- You're travelling or unwell.
- You simply need a quick break to catch up on orders.
What happens when you activate Vacation Mode
When your shop is on Vacation Mode buyers are not able to add your items to their bag. If they have already added an item to their bag before you were on vacation mode they won’t be able to purchase them as the checkout button will be unavailable. A banner will be visible to the buyer informing them that the seller is on vacation.
Important things to know:
- Your shop will still appear if someone searches for your shop name.
- Your items will still appear in search, including any listings you have boosted.
- Other Depop members who visit your shop can still like and save your items.
- You’ll continue to have access to your orders, disputes and messages.
- You’ll still be able to issue refunds, cancel orders and print Depop shipping labels.
- You can make edits to current listings, list new items or save to drafts as usual.
When your shop is in Vacation Mode, you still need to uphold your commitments as a seller to your buyers. It is required that sellers continue fulfilling sold orders and participate in any open dispute cases.

This feature is currently only available for iOS users. Android users will still be shown that “the seller can’t ship this right now” when trying to buy from an iOS seller who is on holiday.
