Please note that the shipping guide provided below relates to a new design, and it may not be immediately available to everyone as we are currently still testing improvements. Consequently, your experience may vary slightly and you should follow the Shipping Guide linked here if so; however, rest assured that these improvements will be launched within the coming months.
We’re introducing changes to make listing and shipping easier on Depop. You no longer have to select a shipping method each time at listing – you can now choose one to apply to all future listings through the ‘shop setting’. Simple.
To keep more of your money and keep costs down we’re removing our free shipping option from Depop Shipping when creating new listings and enabling the buyer to always pay for the cost of shipping (on top of the item price). This means that all you need to focus on is creating high quality listings, promptly shipping your items, and providing exceptional customer service. Learn more on how to ship on Depop below.
If you’re a UK seller, you have 2 shipping options:
- Depop Shipping label: Use Depop’s shipping label via Evri. Once you’ve made a sale you can simply download the QR code, find a convenient drop off location near you and enjoy the fully tracked service (Mainland UK only - England, Wales, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scotland excluding the Scottish Highlands).
- Arrange your own shipping: Arrange tracked shipping yourself through a third party service.

How to offer worldwide shipping
Depop Shipping labels are limited to the UK mainland (England, Wales, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, and Scotland excluding the Scottish Highlands). If you intend to ship outside the UK, you will need to make your own shipping arrangements. You can specify your international shipping price when listing your item.
IMPORTANT:
- Only send the item to the buyer’s address on the in-app receipt to be eligible for PayPal and Depop's Seller Protection, and be sure to keep proof of postage in case something goes wrong.
- It’s important to note that using Deop’s shipping labels means all items are sent fully tracked and qualifying items are eligible for Depop Protection up to £250. If you opt not to use Depop's shipping, you will not be eligible for Depop Protection in the unfortunate event of items being lost or damaged in transit.
