Measuring Displacement Survey Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Promoter, which are final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry submitted if it has reasonable grounds to believe that: (a) the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions (b) the entrant's conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the prize draw or the Promoter into disrepute.
   
   
2. This prize draw is open to legal residents of: (i) the fifty United States and the District of Columbia and (ii) the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) and (iii) Australia, who are aged 18 years or over. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to withhold delivery of the prize until adequate proof of eligibility and identity of the prize winner has been provided in writing. Entrants must hold a Depop Account which is in good standing and the following users will be excluded from the promotion/not eligible to enter, at the sole discretion of the Promoter: (i) any user who has received an abuse warning from Depop against them in the two (2) calendar months preceding the Promotion Period; and (ii) any user whose account has been suspended for any reason, in the two (2) calendar months preceding the Promotion Period.
   
   
3. Employees/contractors of the Promoter and its affiliates and any other persons or employees/contractors of companies associated with this prize draw and members of the families and households of any such persons are not eligible to enter this prize draw. Any such entries will be invalid. 
   
   
4. To enter: For a chance to win a prize, complete the survey:
   
   a. If you are located in the UK, between 10am (GMT) on 18th November 2024 until 6pm (GMT) on 24th November 2024, or
   b. If you are located in the USA, between 10am (EDT) on 18th November 2024 until 6pm (EDT) on 24th November 2024, or
   c. If you are located in Australia, between 10am (AEDT) on 18th November 2024 until 6pm (AEDT) on 24th November 2024,

(the “Promotion Period”).

5. You will need to complete all mandatory fields of the survey and click ‘submit’ during the Promotion Period to be entered. Responses submitted before or after the Promotion Period will not be entered. Internet access is required to take part. You can only submit one entry to the prize draw and entries must be submitted on an individual basis. Any subsequent duplicate or additional entries will be invalid. If you share the link with anyone else, they will be able to complete the survey but they will not be able to enter the prize draw, as only Depop users who receive the email regarding the prize draw may enter. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to these terms and conditions or our Terms of Service will not qualify.
   
   
6. Qualifying entries will be automatically entered into a random prize draw. On 27th November 2024, the Promoter will randomly select three winners from all qualifying entries (one winner in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, one winner in the United Kingdom and one winner in Australia) to win the prize (see below).
   
   
7. The prize: Each winner will receive:
   
   a. if based in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, a $200 USD cash prize. 
   b. if based in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland), a £200 GBP cash prize. 
   c. if based in Australia, a $200 AUD cash prize. 

The prize will be paid to each winner via Paypal, and any potential winner will be required to hold a valid PayPal account (in their own name) in order to claim the prize.

8. Winner notification: Each winner will be notified by email (to the email address associated with their Depop account) by no later than 6th December 2024. If a notification email is returned as undeliverable, a potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize. Each potential winner will be required to respond within 48 hours of the timestamp of email notification (“Initial Contact”) confirming their acceptance of the prize and will need to provide the email address associated with their PayPal account for the prize to be awarded. In the event that a potential winner does not provide a response within 48 hours of Initial Contact or if any prize is declined, the prize will be deemed forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to randomly select one alternative winner, at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Promoter reserves the right to not award the prize at all. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any inability of a potential winner to accept or use any portion of the prize for any reason. 
   
   
9. Any expenses incurred by any winner and any guest with regard to travel, and in the general use and/or enjoyment of their prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner and guests. Each winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. 
   
   
10. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 
    
    
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries. Any incorrect information provided will render the entry invalid. 
    
    
12. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. 
    
    
13. If for any reason any aspect of this prize draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw, or invalidate any affected entries. 
    
    
14. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered howsoever arising from the prize draw or any prize, whether due to errors or omissions or other cause by the Promoter, its employees, agents or others to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
    
    
15. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must comply with local applicable laws. Any  entry that, as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion: (i) is in breach of the rights of others, including copyright, trade secret, licence, patent, trade mark, privacy, publicity or any other right; (ii) contains defamatory statements; (iii) includes threats to any person, place, business, or group; (iv) includes instructions or activities that could cause harm or injury; (v) is obscene or indecent; (vi) depicts any risky or unsafe behaviour; (vii) contains any material or content that is in any way unlawful; or (viii) contains depictions of any individuals who have not granted permission to appear in the entry shall be invalid.  
    
    
16. Any information you provide when you enter the prize draw will be used in accordance with Depop’s Privacy Policy. Winning entrants may be expected to take part in the publicity relating to the promotion and the Promoter may use the winners' name, Depop username, photographs, likeness, voice, opinions and biographical information for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
    
    
17. This prize draw and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
