Getting set up on PayPal is one of the first steps you can take to start selling if you’re selling from outside the UK or US.
If you are located in the UK or US:
We have removed PayPal as a payment option in the UK and US. This means you no longer can link a PayPal account to your Depop account. You now need to sign up to Depop payments in order to list and sell items. Depop Payments lets sellers accept payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit and debit cards, and Klarna, powered by Stripe Connect.

PayPal Fee refund Policy
On Friday (October 11th, 2019), PayPal made some changes to their terms and conditions that affects our sellers in France and Australia. More information is available on their website but we wanted to outline how these changes may affect you as a seller.
What are the changes?
Since 11th October 2019, PayPal no longer returns the transaction fee (2.9% + 30¢) when you refund a buyer’s payment.
How will this affect your business?
You might see higher costs when offering returns and added charges when disputes are opened and decided against you.
What can you do about it?
The key is to reduce your chances as much as possible of having a buyer open a dispute. The easiest way to do this is to make sure your description is as accurate and detailed as possible: be thorough if you are selling second-hand goods and make sure to include the measurements where possible.
