Why has my account been suspended?
To keep our community safe, Depop may limit, suspend or deactivate your account, as outlined in our Terms of Service.
While our goal is to give users as much information as possible about actions we take on your account, we may sometimes need to take action without notifying you directly to keep our community safe.
This may include:
- Deactivating or suspending your account
- Removing your access to the platform, your account or content, or the ability to receive assistance from Depop Support
Why do accounts get suspended?
If someone breaks our Terms of Service, we might pause or permanently deactivate their Depop account until the issue is resolved.
We may suspend an account for any of the following reasons, and especially for repeated violations:
- Listing prohibited items
- Posting or sending inappropriate content
- Transacting off-platform
- Abusive behavior or harassment of other Depop users or staff
- Fraudulent behavior
We might also temporarily suspend an account when we need you to:
- Respond to an issue a buyer has raised in the Resolution Center
- Verify information about your account
If you disagree with our decision to suspend your account, you can submit an appeal. Please make sure to include any evidence to support your appeal.
