This article will help explain how payouts work for UK users. If you’re based in the US, payouts work slightly differently. Read more here.
Your PayPal account must be connected to Depop
As part of your account set up, you must have an active PayPal account connected to Depop so your sales can be processed.
- Just head to Selling Hub > Payments > PayPal.
- From there you can connect your PayPal account.
- Don't have a PayPal account? Set one up on PayPal
Unsure which PayPal account is linked to Depop?
- Check your current PayPal account details such as your linked email address
- Reconnect your PayPal account to Depop
- Check your account for your most recent payment

Depop Payments
You can also be paid through Depop Payments once you have a connected PayPal account. These payments will be paid directly into the bank account you link to Depop.
How do I get set up?
- Go to Selling Hub > Payments and scroll down to Payments Settings
- Connect your bank account
- Add your ID to verify your account. You must be 18 or over to have a Stripe account so, if you are under 18, you can simply add a parent or guardian ID instead.
When are payouts processed?
Once a buyer purchases from you via Depop Payments the money goes straight to your balance, which you can see in the Payments section of your Selling Hub in app.
Your payout will then be sent to your linked bank account 10 working days after the sale date. You might see a 2-3 day difference in processing times depending on your bank.
