We know that there have been many changes with the USPS and its shipping service has caused some challenges. Depop is closely monitoring the situation and staying in touch with our contacts at the USPS to make sure we are updated on any changes or delays that might affect our community.
For all of the information we have to date and some answers to questions you’ve asked us, please see below. We also provide more details in our US shipping guide on how to ship safely or track your orders.
What does this mean to me as a seller?
As it stands, as long as you arrange your own shipping or ship with Depop, your order should not be impacted. However, as mentioned in our COVID-19 Live Updates guide, sellers might face shipping delays due to the current pandemic and it is your responsibility to communicate any you might experience with buyers.
What does this mean to me as a buyer?
You can anticipate your items to be shipped and delivered as usual, but please allow 48-hours for sellers to drop off or schedule a pick up for your purchase and for tracking information to be updated.
If you don’t receive shipping information after 48-hours, please submit a request and get in touch with our support team directly.
How can I stay updated on any USPS changes?
Stay up-to-date with any major shipping updates from Depop through our US shipping guide. USPS also updates their shipping alerts here often.
I can’t find my order’s tracking information, what can I do?
USPS can take up to 48-hours to scan packages into their mailing system and update the tracking details. Please allow 48-hours from the time your package was dropped off or scheduled to be picked up for your tracking information to be updated before getting in touch about any delays.
If you are having difficulties accessing your shipping label in app, find more details on how you can do so here.
