How can I provide my date of birth?
Go to Settings > My Account > Profile and tap ‘Date of birth’.
What if I gave the wrong date of birth? Can I change it?
If you’ve made a mistake, please contact Depop Support. We may need to ask you to provide a form of ID to verify your date of birth and amend it for you.
Who can see my date of birth?
Your date of birth is not visible to other users.
To see your date of birth, go to your Depop settings and tap Profile.
Why do I need to give my date of birth, and what will you do with it?
We’ll use your date of birth to confirm you’re old enough to use Depop. Knowing the age of our users also helps us build a better and more tailored experience for the entire Depop community.

What if I’m over 13 but under 18 years old?
If you’re setting up your account, our payment partners PayPal and Stripe may have additional requirements and you may need a parent or guardian to help you when setting up a payment method. Find out more about age requirements on Depop.
When does Depop ask for my date of birth?
We will ask you for your date of birth when you sign up to Depop for the first time and we will ask for it again when you sign up to Depop Payments.
