Vacation Mode

With Vacation Mode, you can pause purchases from your Depop shop for 7 days. This is helpful if you’re unable to run your shop due to an emergency, illness, or travel. It can also be used if you need a chance to catch up with orders.

How to use Vacation Mode

On app:

• Head to My Depop
• Choose My account (also labelled Settings) in the top right corner
• Scroll down to Vacation Mode
• Swipe the toggle to activate/deactivate

On web:

• Go to your Selling Hub
• Scroll down to Vacation Mode
• Swipe the toggle to activate/deactivate

Vacation mode will automatically turn off after 7 days, so if you’re away longer, remember to switch it back on.

What does Vacation Mode do

When Vacation Mode is turned on, buyers will see a banner letting them know your shop isn’t currently open. They won’t be able to add your items to their bag, and if they had already added an item, they won’t be able to purchase it until your shop is open again. 

Things to bear in mind:

• Your shop will still appear if someone searches for your shop name
• Your items will still appear in search, including any listings you have boosted
• Items can still be liked and saved
• You can access your orders, disputes, and messages
• You can issue refunds, cancel orders, and print Depop shipping labels
• You can make edits to current listings, list new items, or save to drafts

You’ll also still need to send sold orders and participate in any open dispute cases whilst in Vacation Mode.
