How do I log in to Depop?

We now use magic links, meaning you can log in to Depop using just your email — no password needed. 

Instead of entering a password, you’ll receive a one-time login link sent to your email.

Magic links are safer and make it harder for someone to get into your account because there’s no password to forget, guess, or steal. You can also log in with Google or Apple ID for added convenience. To log in:

• Open the app and tap Continue with email
• Enter the email address linked to your Depop account
• Check your inbox for a Magic link email from Depop
• Click the link in the email to log in

If you don’t receive the email, try requesting a new link or double-check that you entered the correct email address.

If the email you receive is to sign up rather than log in, this means your email isn’t yet linked to a Depop account. Simply follow the link to get set up. You can create an account using your email or Google login.

Logging into an existing Depop account previously linked to Facebook

If your Depop account was created using Facebook, you can still access it:

• Open the app and tap Continue with email
• Check your inbox for a Magic link email from Depop
• Click the link in the email to log in

Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the magic link email. If you no longer have access to your email address, you may need to create a new Depop account.
