Depop Content Use Terms

We love your image, photograph, video, audio, or other creative content (collectively, “Your Content”) and would love to share it with the Depop community.

By replying #YesDepop to our request on social media, or otherwise indicating your acceptance, you accept Depop’s Content Use Terms (the “Terms”) and give Depop permission to feature Your Content on Depop services and social media accounts:

You represent and warrant that:

• You own and are solely responsible for all the Content;
• You have all necessary rights to Your Content, including any music, audio, images, or video incorporated within it; and
• Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights. You agree to indemnify Depop from any and all claims related to use of Your Content, meaning you’ll hold us harmless from any legal claim or demand (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that arise from any use of Your Content or breach of the Terms.

You grant Depop Limited and its affiliates (“Depop”) a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable, sub-licensable, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, edit, modify, reproduce, repost, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from  Your Content in any format and through any channels, including but not limited to Depop’s services, social media channels, email, and any third-party website, platform, or advertising medium now known or later developed.

You acknowledge that:

• Depop may edit the Content for formatting, sizing, or creative purposes, provided the original meaning is not materially altered.
• Depop may use the Content with or without credit to your social media handle. While we aim to credit creators where possible, credit is not guaranteed.
• You waive any right to inspect or approve Depop’s use of the Content.
• You will not receive payment, royalties, or other compensation for Depop’s use of the Content unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You agree that you are at least 18 years old, and that you have read and agree to the Terms in full in consideration for Depop’s promotion of Your Content. You agree that if any part of the Terms is found to be unenforceable, that part will be limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect. You agree that Depop reserves the right to modify the Terms at any time.
