Depop Import

Note: Depop Import is currently only available for US users.

Depop Import is a one-time tool to help you kickstart your Depop shop using items you’ve already listed on Poshmark.

Using our simple tool, you can move thousands of listings in minutes, just:

  • Log in to Depop
  • Add your billing address and date of birth
  • Import your listings. You can only list clothing and accessories using Depop Import. Other items can be listed manually, as long as they aren’t on our prohibited items list.
  • Review your drafts, make edits, and post

If you’re having trouble,  double-check you’ve typed your Depop and Poshmark usernames correctly and that you’re logged in to the correct Depop account.

Importing and posting

The tool offers a one-time import, so it won’t continually sync your inventory. Once you’ve imported all your listings, you can list subsequent items using the Depop app, depop.com, or a crosslisting website.

It may take up to half an hour for everything to appear in your drafts if you’re importing a large amount of listings.

If you have a large inventory, you can only post up to 25 listings at a time, so we recommend spacing them out to maintain daily activity. You can post daily from the drafts page, or use the new scheduled drops feature to keep your inventory fresh.

Things to remember

There are a few things to remember when using the tool:

  • Depop Import can’t detect if you already have a listing for a specific item, so it may create a duplicate if you already have it in your shop. You’ll need to go into your drafts and remove the one you no longer need.
  • If you sell your item on Poshmark, you’ll need to go to your shop and manually mark it as sold. Don’t worry, we don’t have a penalty for delisting an item.
  • We’ll suggest package sizes based on the item's estimated weight. In some cases, we may not have enough information to suggest a size. Imported drafts without a suggested package size can be found under your ‘Incomplete’ drafts.
