Send Offer

Offers give you the chance to find interested buyers and sell for a price that’s right for you. 

You can also make an offer on an item you like.

Sellers

The Send offer feature increases your chances of selling by making it easier to offer discounts to potential buyers on items they’ve liked.

Offers can only be sent to buyers within your country, and you can only have one active offer per buyer. Once sent, offers can’t be edited until they expire.

Right now, you can’t send offers on items that you have listed with multiple sizes.

How it works

• Tap Send offer from the notifications feed or by going to My Depop and clicking on the item — we’ll provide some suggested discounts and prices to help you decide what to offer
• You can choose to send the offer to one or all of the people who have liked your item
• The buyer then has 24 hours to purchase the item at your offered price. If there’s no response within 24 hours, the offer expires.
• If the buyer sends you a counteroffer, you can either accept this or send another offer directly from your inbox. You can also set up Auto-respond to help manage offers and speed up sales.
• Once your offer expires, you can send a new offer

The offer doesn’t include the shipping price, so if accepted, the buyer will also need to pay the shipping cost you’ve set for the item.

Until the item is sold, other buyers can still purchase the item for the original price.

Buyers

Our Send offer feature helps you get the item you love at a price that’s right for you and the seller.

Offers last 24 hours, and once they expire, the item returns to the original price.

If you’re interested but the seller’s offer is still too high, you can send a counteroffer.

How it works

• We’ll notify you when you receive an offer from a seller on an item you’ve liked. You can check all your offers by going to your Inbox.
• You can directly purchase the item at the offered price or make a counteroffer
• Go to your Inbox, tap Counter, and enter your counter price for the seller to review
• If your offer is accepted, you’ll get a notification and can purchase at the agreed price

The offer price doesn’t include shipping costs, so if you accept the offer or the seller accepts your counteroffer, you will also need to pay for shipping.
