Negotiating prices with interested buyers just got a lot easier with the ‘Send offer’ feature. In addition to buyers being able to make offers, sellers can now also proactively send special offers to buyers who liked their items.

Sellers
The ‘Send offer’ feature increases your chances of selling faster making it easier than ever to negotiate prices with your buyers.
How it works
- You can send an offer for an item to a potential buyer after they have liked the item
- Tap ‘Send offer’ next to the like notification to let the buyer know the price you’re willing to offer the item for
- The buyer has 24 hours to purchase the item at your offered price. If there’s no response within 24 hours, the offer expires.

When does an offer expire?
Offers expire 24 hours from the time they’re sent by the seller. This means the buyer has 24 hours to purchase your item at the price you have offered.
Can someone else buy the item I’ve sent an offer to a buyer for?
Yes, someone else can buy the item even if you’ve sent an offer for it. Other buyers can still purchase the item at its original price.
Can I change my offer after I’ve sent it?
No, currently you can’t change your offer while it’s pending review by the buyer. However, if your offer expires, you’ll be able to make a new one.
Does the offer price include shipping?
No, the offer you send does not include the shipping price. If your offer is accepted, the buyer will need to pay the shipping cost you’ve set on top of the agreed price.
Why can I not see ‘Send offer’ on some liked items?
At the moment this feature is only available to a handful of sellers as we are currently testing this new feature but here might be some other reasons why you cannot see the ‘Send offer’ button.
- Currently you cannot send offers to users who are outside of your country - you might still be able to sell the item if you have worldwide shipping enabled, but you cannot send an offer to them via the ‘Send offer’ button.
- You also can’t send offers on items that you have listed with multiple sizes.
- If you are an Android device user you will not see this feature as it is not available for sellers on Android yet.
How many times can I send an offer for an item?
You can only ever have one active offer for one user – but you can send multiple offers on the same item at the same time to different buyers. However, if your offer expires, you’ll be able to send a new offer to the same user.
Can I counter offer?
If the buyer has sent you a counter offer you can also send another counter offer to the buyer. Just go to Selling Hub > ‘Offers’.

How it works
- We’ll notify you when you receive an offer from a seller
- You can directly purchase the item with the offered price or make a counter offer in the ‘Offers’ tab in Messages
- Offers expire 24 hours after they’re sent, so be quick!
- Not open to offers? You can simply ignore them.

FAQs
How will I be notified when I receive an offer?
You’ll receive a push notification (if you have notifications enabled) and an email letting you know you’ve received an offer. You can check all your offers by going to the ‘Offers’ tab in Messages.
When does an offer expire?

Can I turn off or ignore offers?
Offers are currently enabled for all buyers. You can ignore any offers that you don’t want to respond to, and all offers will expire after 24 hours.
Can I counter the offer?
To send a counter offer, go to the ‘Offers’ tab in Messages and tap ‘Counter’.
Does the offer price include shipping?
No, the offer price does not include the shipping price. If you accept the offer, you will still need to pay the shipping cost on top of the agreed price.
